2026 Full-Day Course: Starry Sky at Himeji City Hoshinoko-kan (星の子館)

A day centered on the stargazing session at Hoshinoko-kan (星の子館), Himeji City's overnight-stay children's center, adjacent to the Himeji Science Center Atom's Hall (アトムの館) in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture. The sessions are held daily (with craft events also held on weekends), with a first session starting at 19:00 and a second at 20:00 (each about an hour); they are free but require advance application. Stargazing with the astronomical telescope Asahirara (あさひらら) is conducted every night, weather permitting. The neighboring Himeji Science Center Atom's Hall is open 9:30-17:00 (last entry 16:30), general admission 600 yen, closed on Tuesdays.
