2026 National Myoko Nature Center for Youth Starry Sky Full-Day Course

This is a day centered around the constellation observation program at the National Myoko Nature Center for Youth (国立妙高青少年自然の家) in Sekiyama, Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture. The program runs year-round and takes 1-2 hours, held at locations with few surrounding buildings such as Subaru Hall (すばるホール), Subaru Hill (すばるの丘), and Tsudoi Plaza (つどいの広場). You can also request an outside telescope operator or stargazing instructor, and if the stars aren't visible, the program switches to an indoor DVD viewing. It requires advance reservation, so please check the fee and the time for your visit by phone (0255-82-4321, daily 8:30-17:00, except year-end/New Year holidays and closure days) and apply accordingly.
