2026 Full-Day Course: Stargazing at the Uonuma City Nature Science Museum Star House

This is a day centered on the stargazing session at the 'Uonuma City Nature Science Museum Star House' (魚沼市自然科学館 星の家), located at the summit of Suhara Ski Resort (elevation 555m) in Uonuma City, Niigata Prefecture. 'The Starry Sky and Stargazing' event is held every year from May to October, by reservation only (first-come, first-served, capacity 15), from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. The participation fee is 200 yen for high school students and up, 100 yen for elementary and junior high school students, and 70 yen for children aged 5 and up; entry is not allowed for those without a reservation. Since the dates are announced each fiscal year in the 'Stargazing Session Schedule,' please contact and reserve in advance with Suhara Ski Resort (025-797-2059) before heading out. Even on cloudy or rainy days, a slide presentation is held indoors.
