2026 Shiga Prefectural General Education Center Stargazing: A Full-Day Course

This is a day centered on the astronomical observation event at the Shiga Prefectural General Education Center in Kitazakura, Yasu City. In fiscal 2026, it will be held 3 times a year (May, October, February); the October and February sessions run from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Admission is free, and advance registration is required via a Google Form; if there are more applicants than spots, participants are chosen by lottery (capacity 80 people). The center's parking lot is available, but since bus service ends before the event finishes, you'll need to arrange your own transportation home, such as a taxi. High school students and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
