2027 Yatsugatake Starry Sky Film Festival: A Full-Day Course

This day centers on the “Starry Sky Film Festival” held at the outdoor stage of Yatsugatake Shizen Bunkaen in Hara Village, Suwa District, Nagano Prefecture. It is held every year in August; in 2026 it ran from August 2 to 16. Gates open at 18:30 and screenings begin at 19:30. Same-day tickets are 1,500 yen for adults (high school age and up), 500 yen for children (elementary/junior high school age), and free for preschoolers. This is a limited-run event held only during the festival period — the facility is not open for stargazing year-round. Free parking is available at the venue. Since no public transportation runs after screenings end, arriving by car is recommended.
