2026 Full-Day Course: Stargazing at Ikenokubo Green Park, Tenku no Mori (Sky Forest)

This day centers on Ikenokubo Green Park, located at an elevation of about 800m in the Tenku no Mori (Sky Forest) area of Morotsuka Village, Higashiusuki District, Miyazaki Prefecture. The second floor of the Cassiopeia log cabin has an astronomical observation dome (no telescope or binoculars provided), and the highland's few streetlights make for a sky full of stars. Check-in is 15:00-17:00 for log cabins and 13:00-17:00 for campsites; check-out is at 10:00. Closed every Wednesday and during the New Year holiday period. Rates: 20,000 yen/night for the 10-person log cabin, 12,000 yen/night for the 5-person log cabin, and 1,000-2,500 yen/night for campsites (plus a separate admission fee of 200 yen per person per night; free for high school students and younger).
