2026 Full-Day Starry Sky Course at Otani Sanso's Astronomical Dome

A day centered on the astronomical dome at Otani Sanso, located at Nagato Yumoto Onsen in Nagato City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Attached to the 8th floor of the Fuyo guest wing, it lets you observe seasonal stars, including the Perseid meteor shower, through a specialized telescope. Held daily from 19:30 to 22:10 (closed Tuesdays for maintenance), it's free and limited to hotel guests. Reservations are required in advance — book through the reservation center before your stay, or at the front desk on the day. If the weather is poor, past observation footage is shown instead. This astronomical dome can only be used by guests staying at Otani Sanso; day-trip use is not available, so please note this.
