2026 Hirosaki City Observatory Starry Sky Full-Day Course

This day centers on the Hirosaki City Observatory (弘前市天文台) in Oaza Mizuki-zaike, Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. The observatory is only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 18:00 to 22:00 (last entry 21:30); it is closed Monday through Thursday and during the New Year holidays (December 29-January 3), with free admission. During the day, you can stroll through Hirosaki Park (弘前公園), the former site of Hirosaki Castle, in the center of Hirosaki City (the park itself is free; the Honmaru, Kita-no-Kuruwa, and Botanical Garden are paid areas, with admission from April 2025 being 320 yen for adults, open 9:00-17:00 in the regular season).
