2026 Full-Day Course: Stargazing at the Hachinohe City Audio-Visual Center Children's Science Museum (八戸市視聴覚センター児童科学館)

This day centers on the ‘Citizens' Stargazing Meeting’ (市民星空観望会) at the Hachinohe City Audio-Visual Center Children's Science Museum (八戸市視聴覚センター児童科学館), located in Ruike, Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture. The stargazing meeting is held on the second and fourth Saturday of every month (subject to change depending on the month), and is free with no reservation required. Times vary by season; from November through mid-March, it runs from 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM. During the day, you can drive to visit Korekawa Jomon Museum (是川縄文館, adjacent to the World Heritage Korekawa Stone Age Site, 是川石器時代遺跡; admission 250 yen for adults; open 9:00 AM-5:00 PM).
