A day set at Oishi Highlands Campground, located in Oishi Highlands (elevation 870m) in Kimino Town. Same-day check-in closes at 4:00 PM, and check-in takes place at Yama no Ie Oishi (open 9:30-16:30). Camping fees (use from 15:00 to 11:00 the next day) are: large plot (approx. 56 sqm) 5,500 yen on weekends/days before holidays, 3,850 yen on weekdays; small plot (approx. 12 sqm) 2,200 yen on weekends/days before holidays, 1,540 yen on weekdays (tax included). Reservations are taken by phone (073-489-3586) from 9:30 AM on the 1st of the month before your intended stay; if you have not checked in or contacted the campground by 4:00 PM on the day, your reservation will be treated as canceled. Campfires and fireworks are strictly prohibited, and BBQ is only allowed in the paid campground plots (reservation required). There have been bear sightings in the area, and the campground may close temporarily depending on conditions.
