About this spot

Japan's largest aquarium with approximately 700 species and 120,000 creatures. The large tank where 50,000 sardines swirl gracefully and the aqua tube where sharks swim overhead are breathtaking. The shows featuring sea animals—dolphins, beluga whales, and penguins—are so engaging that children won't stop cheering.

Tips

Arrive for seating about 15 minutes before show start. Front row seats get splashed, so bring a towel. Baby rooms and elevators are available throughout the facility.

Best time to visit

2 hours required; early morning shows are the best choice.
