About this spot
The goal of the Enoden journey is Enoshima Station, with its retro atmosphere. On the railing just past the ticket gate, small bird figures dressed in hand-knitted clothes are lined up, and they are a big hit with kids. Subana Street, which runs from the station toward Enoshima, is lined with street food such as octopus senbei crackers and soft-serve ice cream, as well as souvenir shops. It's the perfect way to wrap up the trip.
Tips
If you have time and energy to spare, it's about a 15-minute walk from the station to the entrance of Enoshima. On the way back, taking the Enoden to Fujisawa Station makes it convenient to transfer to the JR and Odakyu lines.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour; the area in front of the station gets lively with tourists in the evening.
