About this spot

A prefectural park built on the site of the former U.S. military Johnson Base. It features expansive lawns, two ponds, and seasonal flowering plants—perfect for a morning stroll. The park grounds are flat and easy to walk, with Johnson Town just a short walk away. A place where you'll want to take a deep breath at the start of your day.

Tips

Parking is free. Since Johnson Town has limited parking spaces, it's smooth sailing to park at the park and explore on foot. The small park shop has limited drinks, so bringing your own beverages is recommended.

Best time to visit

Allow 60–90 minutes. Mornings are quiet with fewer people.
