A large urban park sprawling across the hills of Sayama City. Nature trails wind through mixed forests, and a free urban greening botanical garden offers pleasant walks while enjoying seasonal flowers. The small children's zoo has capybaras and monkeys, naturally getting your conversation flowing.

Tips

The children's zoo admission closes 30 minutes before closing time. The park is expansive, so choosing a parking lot near your destination area helps avoid fatigue. The botanical garden is free.

Best time to visit

Allow 60–90 minutes. The evening light before dusk is especially beautiful.
