Walking through the approach lined with towering cedar trees, you encounter a vermillion torii gate and a black-lacquered main hall that commands reverence. Enjoy the shrine's famous dumplings at a tea shop on the approach—the perfect finale to a three-generation outing.
Tips
From the parking lot to the main hall, the sandy path and gentle slope make a carrier more practical than a stroller. The good-luck dumplings at the approach tea shop are the perfect size for eating while walking.
