About this spot

A large-scale aquarium boasting Japan's largest variety of shark species in captivity. In addition to a dedicated manta ray tank and about 580 species of sea creatures, it features spectacular dolphin and sea lion shows, plus a well-equipped kids' corner where children can play and move around. With a food court on-site, you can complete your lunch inside the facility, which is convenient for families with children.

Tips

The dolphin show gets crowded quickly, so arrive and be seated 20 minutes before the show starts. Strollers are permitted and nursing rooms are available; entering right after opening on busy weekends makes for a more comfortable visit.

Best time to visit

Allow just over 3 hours. Weekday mornings right after opening are less crowded.
