A dining hall operated by the Oarai Town Fisheries Cooperative, located right in front of the ocean. The specialty dishes prepared by fishermen's mothers—such as whitebait rice bowls and simmered fish set meals—draw crowds even among locals. Since fresh fish caught that day is used, check the blackboard for recommendations. The simple, unpretentious coastal flavors are enjoyed across generations, from children to grandparents.

Tips

Lines form immediately after opening, so arrive before the shop opens to get ahead. Fresh whitebait can sell out early once supplies arrive.
