A municipal forest with hiking trails winding through broad mixed woodland, ideal for observing seasonal insects, birds, and flowers. The Nature Center hub features live creature displays, and asking staff about current highlights before you walk greatly increases your discoveries. Free admission makes it a perfect post-lunch walking spot.

Start at the Nature Center to pick up an observation map and learn about current highlights before heading out. Insect repellent is essential in summer months, and wear comfortable hiking shoes as some paths are unpaved.
