A roadside station that also serves as the highway oasis "Mibu Highway Park" on the Kita-Kanto Expressway. Fresh vegetables from Mibu, specialty kanpyo (gourd strips), and strawberry sweets are on display, and the dining area offers menus featuring local ingredients. The fact that it is adjacent to Tochigi Wanpaku Park is a nice point for families with children.
Tips
You can move between Wanpaku Park and the parking lot, so you can leave your car parked. The dining area gets crowded during weekend lunch hours, so an early lunch before noon is more comfortable for families with children.
Best time to visit
Plan for about 1 hour. Arriving before noon makes it easier to find seating.
