Park Stroll While Enjoying Views of Tulip Tower and Five-Chain Lifting Water Wheels
About this spot
A park symbolizing Tonami, known for tulip bulb production, and a famous flower spot where a carpet of flowers spreads across the landscape in spring. Scattered throughout the park are notable sights such as the symbolic Tulip Tower and the vigorously rotating Five-Chain Lifting Water Wheels. The seasonal flowerbeds and lawn areas are enjoyable to stroll through year-round. The spacious grounds are wonderfully open for children to walk freely, making it the perfect starting point to first experience the air of the flower town of Tonami. There are plenty of family photo opportunities, including views from the tower and commemorative photos in front of the water wheels.
Tips
The park is open year-round and admission is normally free. Admission fees apply only during the festival period held at the peak of spring flowers. The park is flat and easy to navigate with a stroller, and there are multiple parking lots around the park. Early morning is less crowded, allowing you to enjoy photography of the flowerbeds in peace.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1.5 hours required. Early morning is quiet and the flowerbed photos are beautiful.
