A large prefectural park adjacent to Ishikawa Zoo. With spacious grass lawns, large playground equipment, and walking paths that circle a pond arranged in a relaxed layout, it's a free-admission local family favorite. Perfect for spreading out a picnic after the zoo visit, and after eating you can let the kids play on the equipment to warm up for the afternoon activities. Abundant seasonal flowers and greenery also offer adults a pleasant forest-bathing atmosphere.
Tips
Free admission and parking, located in the same hilly area as the zoo so driving is smooth. In-park shops are limited, so it's best to bring your own picnic and drinks. The grass field has limited shade, so don't forget hats.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes needed. Lunchtime is perfect picnic weather on the grass lawn.
