About this spot
A waterfall approximately 12 meters high located upstream on the Ichijodani River valley, said to be where the legendary swordsman Sasaki Kojirou developed his secret technique, the "Tsubame Gaeshi" (Swallow Cut) through training. You can walk close to the pool at the base of the falls, allowing you to experience the sound and spray of the water up close. A statue of Sasaki Kojirou stands near the falls, stirring historical imagination. It's the perfect place to conclude your tour of historical sites, taking a peaceful moment enveloped in greenery and water.
Tips
The falls are just a short walk from the free parking area, but watch your footing as some spots are wet and slippery. Even in summer, the area is pleasantly cool; bring a light layer. Since it's in a mountain valley where dusk comes early, visiting while it's still light is recommended.

Allow approximately 45 minutes. Visit by around 4-5 PM to ensure adequate daylight
