Located in the Kawada district, the production center of Echizen lacquerware with a history spanning approximately 1,500 years, this facility allows you to fully experience the allure of lacquerware. Beyond displays of lustrous red and black lacquered pieces, you can observe artisans at work in their studios, experiencing the traditional craftsmanship up close. Decorative painting experiences on bowls, chopsticks, and other items are accessible even for children, and your unique creations make perfect mementos of your visit. The shop carries everyday lacquerware pieces, making it ideal for souvenir hunting.
