The grounds also feature reconstructed structures including the Inari Tower and gates, allowing history enthusiasts to leisurely imagine the castle's former grandeur. Despite its station-front location, the expansive grounds offer a refreshingly open atmosphere for a relaxing afternoon.

Tips

Entrance is free, and the interior of the reconstructed Inari Tower is also freely accessible (confirm hours of operation in advance). Reaching the castle foundation involves climbing stone steps, making proper footwear essential. The grounds have limited shade, so in sunny seasons, bring a hat and water. Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Kofu Station.
