About this spot

One of Japan's leading large-scale aquariums where you can encounter orcas and belugas. The dolphin performances held in the main pool, Japan's largest, are spectacular and impressive, with spacious seating that makes it easy for families to watch together. The South Building features a journey theme from Japan to Antarctica, with attractions including penguin colonies and a sardine tornado display. In-house restaurants and snack corners allow you to complete your lunch without leaving the facility—a welcome plus for families with children. Stroller entry permitted, with nursing rooms and diaper-changing facilities also available.

Tips

Dolphin show seating fills up quickly, so arrive 15–20 minutes before the start. Stroller entry OK; nursing rooms and diaper-changing facilities are available. Visiting right after opening on holidays is most comfortable.
