Beloved as a landmark of Sakae, this three-dimensional park features the futuristic design of a water-filled glass roof shaped like the "Water Spaceship" floating in the sky—truly breathtaking. The rooftop allows for a complete loop walk that feels like an aerial stroll, and the view down through the glass to the atrium below delights children. The underground "Galaxy Plaza" is surrounded by shops, cafés, and Nagoya souvenir stores, making it perfect for snack breaks and souvenir hunting. Its direct connection to Sakae Station on the subway means you can arrive without getting wet on rainy days—a reassuring feature.

Tips

Admission is free and you can freely walk the water spaceship rooftop. Direct connections to underground passages and the subway allow indoor-only routes on rainy days. The rooftop is outdoors, so on rainy days focus on the Galaxy Plaza below and indoor shops. Strollers can move between floors via elevators. Heading toward nearby Hisaya-Odori Park, the next destination (the television tower) becomes visible.

Best time to visit

Allow approximately 1 hour. Late afternoon has moderate shopper traffic and is an ideal time for a café break.
