Sakai knives, favored by professional chefs, can be selected with staff guidance to suit your purpose and hand size. The second-floor Blade Museum presents the Sakai forging process—beating and sharpening iron—through exhibits. About 3 minutes on foot from Myokokuji Station on the Hankai Electric Railway. Just a few stations from Shukuin Station near Sakai Toshoku no Mori, and the vintage streetcar journey itself is popular with the grandchildren's generation. Free parking available.
