About this spot
The affectionate name for Sennan Rinku Park (泉南りんくう公園), a prefectural complex along Osaka Bay that extends for approximately 2 kilometers. Opened in 2020, this waterfront complex centers on a long boardwalk with marché areas featuring cafés and boutiques, glamping facilities, skateparks, and athletic facilities scattered throughout. The scenery constantly changes as you walk, never becoming monotonous. The white buildings against the blue sea are picturesque from every angle, making it popular for couple photography. With abundant benches and grassy areas, relaxing with a takeout drink while gazing at the sea is wonderfully refreshing. It's the perfect spot for a leisurely afternoon before heading to Marble Beach at evening.
Tips
About 10 minutes' walk from Tarui Station (樽井駅) on the Nankai Main Line; parking is available for a fee. Walking end-to-end covers approximately 2km, so tailor your route based on time available. Most shops and cafés close by evening, so shop and rest early. The coast has strong sunlight and winds, so bring a hat and light jacket for comfort.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1.5 hours. As the sun begins to set, the sea shimmers, and the boardwalk walk becomes especially pleasant.
