About this spot

A sightseeing cruise departing from Toba Marine Terminal that loops around the calm Toba Bay dotted with islands large and small. Children's primary interest is feeding seagulls that chase the boat. The thrill of seagulls swooping close to hand brings excited shouts from all around the deck. The small Dolphin Island you visit offers free entry and is a small marine amusement park where you can watch dolphin and sea lion shows for free. You can disembark and spend time there before returning to port on a later boat. The scenic views of pearl rafts and the port town from the water are full of travel atmosphere, making it the perfect finale after visiting the aquarium to appreciate sea life—an experience to savor all of Toba's ocean.

Tips

The boarding location is Toba Marine Terminal (Sada Beach), just a short walk from Toba Station. If you disembark at Dolphin Island, be sure to check the final return boat time before boarding. Snacks for seagull feeding can be purchased onboard. The deck experiences strong sea winds, so even in summer, bring a light jacket and hat for safety.

Best time to visit

Approximately 2 hours required. Afternoon boats offer beautiful light and align well with Dolphin Island show times.
