Japan's largest-class flower theme park located within Nagashima Resort. The approximately 13,000-tsubo "Flower Plaza" showcases seasonal flower fields—tulips, cosmos, and more—all at once, while the largest greenhouse in Japan, the "Begonia Garden," offers vibrant flowers year-round, rain or shine. Walking paths and restaurants wind around the large pond within the grounds, and at dusk, the water and flowers bathe in soft light—a front-row seat to nature's beauty. While nationally famous for its large-scale winter illuminations, the flower season's evening scenery is equally breathtaking. A perfect finale to a day filled with rides and shopping, inviting the family to stroll leisurely together.
Tips
Approximately 10 minutes by car from the Wangan-Nagashima IC; direct buses from the Nagoya Station area are also available. The admission fee includes a voucher worth 1,000 yen usable within the grounds—great value for restaurants and souvenirs. The grounds are flat and comfortable for strollers. During illumination season, evenings become very crowded, so arriving early in late afternoon is recommended. Since the Flower Plaza is located deeper within the grounds, calculate your time by working backward from the closing time.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour. Dusk is when the flower fields and pond are bathed in the softest, most beautiful light.
