About this spot
A roadside station along National Route 4 in the world heritage town of Hiraizumi, known by the nickname "The Ideal Land Where Golden Flowers Bloom." The farm products corner displays seasonal vegetables, fruits, and rice delivered by local farmers. Reflecting the region's rice cake culture, there are many mochi products, as well as world heritage souvenirs like sweets inspired by the Konjikudō. There are also a restaurant and light food counter, perfect for a rest after your walks. Grandparents can enjoy vegetable and local food shopping while grandchildren pick out snacks—it's one of the great joys of a roadside station that each generation finds their own pleasures. A stop here at the end of your trip lets you take home all the bounty of Hiraizumi.
