Tips

About a 10-minute walk from JR Yokote Station, located near Yokote City Hall. Admission to the kamakura room is just 100 yen. Since the interior is kept at minus 10 degrees, bringing an outer layer is advisable even in summer (happi coats are available to borrow). This compact facility can be enjoyed in a short time, making it perfect for a quick visit before or after lunch.
