Japan's Largest-Class Flower Paradise with Views of Mt. Daisen—A Family Stroll

About this spot

This flower park boasts one of Japan's largest scales, with flowers blooming continuously throughout the year across approximately 50 hectares. The park's symbol is a glass-domed Flower Dome with a diameter of about 50 meters and a covered observation corridor of about 1 kilometer that encircles the entire garden. Since the corridor is elevated above ground, you can enjoy unobstructed views of the flower fields and the majestic Mt. Daisen even on rainy days. The vista of Mt. Daisen and the flower fields from Flower Hill is truly breathtaking and a classic family photo spot. A flower train circles the park, making it easy for families with small children to explore the grounds.

Tips

Visiting early when the park just opens is recommended, as there are fewer visitors and photography is easier. The parking lot is free with ample space. Since the park is very large, make good use of the in-park Flower Train (fee-based) if you get tired from walking.

Best time to visit

Allow approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. The air is clearest in the morning, making Mt. Daisen distinctly visible from Flower Hill.
