This roadside station, identifiable by its Chinese architecture-style roofing, is adjacent to Yan Zhao Garden. The dining area offers Chinese cuisine with the ambiance of the garden, including ramen and Chinese rice bowls that are easy for children to enjoy. The local products corner displays an array of souvenirs unique to the lake town: juices and sweets made with the region's signature twentieth-century pears, Nebariko (ねばりっこ), Tottori's famous long yam, and processed products from Togo Lake (東郷湖) shijimi clams. Being just a short walk from Yan Zhao Garden, you can complete both lunch and shopping without extra travel time—a wonderful convenience. It's also a reliable rest stop during a driving route.

Tips

The dining area tends to be crowded around noon, so arriving just before or at midday is your best bet for securing a table. Fresh twentieth-century pears appear in season, but pear juice and pear confections are available year-round.

Allow approximately 1 hour 10 minutes. Seating is easier to find from just after opening until early afternoon.
