A Sōtō Zen temple in Tokushima's Jōroku district, acclaimed as the 'Hōryūji of Awa' due to its exceptional collection of cultural treasures. The grounds feature rows of structures designated as National Important Cultural Properties—the three-story gate, main hall, and Kannon Hall—preserving the essence of medieval temple architecture.
