The shop features local specialties from Sanuki and eastern Kagawa, locally grown vegetables, and udon-related products unique to Sanuki. Inside is a dining area where you can enjoy udon. The tourist information corner is perfect for gathering information about the pine grove and the Higashi-Kagawa area, making this an ideal first stop of the day. Parking here allows you to walk directly to Tsuda Pine Grove via the footpath through the pine forest, which is a major attraction.
Tips
The parking lot is shared between the roadside station and the pine grove, so park here in the morning and head straight to the pine grove. The first half of the route has few vending machines, so it's reassuring to stock up on drinks and use the restroom here.
Best time to visit
Approximately 40 minutes. Early morning just after opening, the shop and parking lot are relaxed and easy to navigate
