Natural Park with Seasonal Flower Fields Spread Against the Sea

About this spot

A natural park spreading across a hillside opening toward the sea in the northern part of Noko Island. The main attraction is the seasonal flower fields blooming competitively against the backdrop of the blue sea. Spring brings rape blossoms and cherry blossoms, summer features marigolds and sunflowers, autumn showcases a field of cosmos, and winter presents narcissus—throughout the year you can enjoy the collaboration of flowers and sea. Within the park is 'Memory Street' (思ひ出通り), recreating nostalgic streetscapes, complete with penny candy shops and opportunities to interact with goats and rabbits—an attraction that captivates both children and adults. For lunch, enjoy Noko udon, the island's specialty, at the dining facility in the park. These thin, chewy noodles will lighten your step as you continue your flower-viewing walk.

Tips

From the ferry terminal to the park, the shuttle bus service that runs to match ferry arrivals is convenient. The park has many sloped and grassy paths, so wear comfortable walking shoes. The flower field has few shaded areas, so bring a hat and drinks for peace of mind. Since flower blooms shift seasonally, checking the flowering status in advance will help you encounter the best scenery.

Best time to visit

Allow approximately 3 hours. Clear mornings offer the best opportunity for photographing the flower fields and sea.
