A rest area standing at the gateway to Kushima, Miyazaki Prefecture's southernmost town. The merchandise sales hall displays fresh morning vegetables from local farmers in boxes, with sweet potatoes (kampou) and fully ripened kinkan that Kushima takes pride in, along with abundance produced by the warm climate. Fresh seafood caught nearby, processed products, and bento boxes and prepared dishes are also well-stocked, making it exciting just to choose your travel companions. Confirm the route to Toi Cape at the tourism information corner and do a quick preview of Kushima's food before setting off on your cape drive. This is the town's vibrant kitchen, fitting for the start of your journey.

Tips

Weekend mornings are bustling with local customers. Popular bento boxes and prepared dishes often sell out by late morning, so early purchase is recommended. Since dining and shops are limited around Toi Cape, it's safe to buy drinks and snacks here.
