A shopping area on the seaside of Mihama American Village, featuring a waterside boardwalk as its greatest attraction. As you walk along the wooden promenade with the salt breeze, on one side stretches the East China Sea and on the other, resort-filled shops. Beach-inspired fashion and souvenir stores, Okinawan gift shops, and cafes and sweets vendors gather here—you'll find it hard to stop hopping from shop to shop. When you get tired of walking, grab a gelato or cold drink and take a moment to gaze at the sea. As dusk approaches and the colors of the sea and sky gradually begin to change, this afternoon moment becomes extraordinary.

Tips

The terrace seating along the boardwalk offers prime ocean views with a pleasant sea breeze. During strong sunlight hours, a hat and sunglasses add comfort. Grouping your souvenir shopping here allows you to enjoy the final sunset at Sunset Beach feeling light and unencumbered.

Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Working backward from sunset time and slowly exploring during the afternoon is recommended.
