会場となる緑の島・函館港一帯へは、花火開始の30分以上前に到着して観覧場所を確保するのがおすすめです。当日は周辺道路の交通規制や混雑が予想されるため、函館市電やバスなどの公共交通機関を利用してください。終了後は市電・バスが大変混み合うため、フィナーレ後は港で余韻を楽しんでから時間をずらして帰るのがおすすめ。荒天時の開催可否は主催者の公式発表で確認を。
