On August 13, 2026 (Thursday), from 7:20 PM to 9:00 PM, approximately 20,000 fireworks will be launched from the special venue on the Tokachigawa riverbed. Fireworks displayed against the vast Tokachi Plain sky offer an openness and power distinctly different from urban fireworks displays, with the shimmering reflections on the river's surface adding impressive visual appeal. After the show, roads to Obihiro Station become extremely congested, so it's recommended to enjoy the atmosphere on the riverbed for a while after the finale before leaving with a time delay.
