Check the official Shingu City announcement for confirmation if weather is inclement. After the show ends, surrounding roads and parking areas become very congested. If using JR Shingu Station, it is recommended to spend some time enjoying the lingering atmosphere from the embankment before departing, allowing for staggered departure timing. The path home is dark, so a small light is reassuring. Since August 14 is a peak period for fireworks festivals in Wakayama Prefecture, confirm transportation arrangements both before and after in advance.
