About this spot

Developed by Gobo City using the Hidaka River's broad high-water channel, this park lets visitors enjoy sports and recreation while in touch with the riverside nature. The grounds include an auto campsite, a 9-hole mini golf course, a gateball court, and a multi-purpose field where you can even play baseball — plenty of room for a family to spend the whole day. Come evening on the day of the fireworks, food stalls line this riverbed, filling it with festival energy. Spread out your picnic sheet to claim a spot, then watch the river's colors shift as the sun sets while you wait for the show to begin.

Tips

The parking lot and surrounding roads get congested in the evening on the day of the fireworks. It's safer to use public transport or finish parking early. Popular food stall items can sell out early, so buying around 5–6 PM is recommended. Please take your trash home with you.
