Anabina Shinsuiko Park stretches along the Amagawa River and serves as the launching venue for the Koedo Kawagoe Fireworks Festival. The spacious riverbank offers excellent views and is known as a prime viewing spot to enjoy fireworks reflected on the water. Arrive in the early evening, secure your spot with a leisure sheet, and have a light meal with provisions you've brought or purchased near the venue. November sunsets come early, and temperatures drop rapidly after dark. Tips

Accessible by bus or taxi from within Kawagoe. On the day of the fireworks festival, shuttle buses and parking areas may be set up; check the official traffic information beforehand. Restaurants and concessions near the venue get very crowded, so secure light snacks and beverages early. Locate restroom facilities while it's still light.

Best time to visit

Approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes required. The color transformation of the sky immediately after sunset is particularly beautiful.
