A 53-hectare urban park that houses the Tokorozawa Aviation Pioneering Memorial Museum. Vast lawns and rich vegetation spread throughout, and even in summer, refreshing breezes flow through the tree shade. There are many points of interest including a fountain plaza and Japanese garden, and after visiting the aviation museum, a stroll through the park provides an ideal spot to rest in the afternoon. You can pick up refreshments at a shop or have a light snack on a bench while spending a relaxed time until your evening departure. A botanical garden is adjacent, allowing you to enjoy quiet time surrounded by greenery.

令和8年度入間基地納涼祭のフィナーレを飾る花火大会です。2026年7月22日(水)20時20分から約30分間、航空自衛隊入間基地の広い空に約900発の花火が次々と打ち上がります。基地周辺は遮るものが少なく開けた空が広がるため、花火が大きくはっきりと見えるのが特徴です。打ち上がるたびに響く音と光が夏の夜を彩り、見ている子どもたちから歓声が上がります。自衛隊基地の納涼祭という特別な舞台で打ち上がる花火は、ほかにはない雰囲気があり、毎年多くの家族連れが楽しみにしている地域の夏の風物詩です。

Tips

稲荷山公園駅・狭山市駅周辺など基地フェンス沿いの道路や公園から観覧できます。基地内への無断立ち入りは厳禁。終了後は周辺道路と稲荷山公園駅が大変混み合うため、フィナーレ後は少し時間をおいてから移動するのがおすすめです。荒天時の開催可否は入間基地の公式発表で当日確認してください。

Tips

Just a short walk from Kōkōen (Aviation Park) Station. Free admission. The park is large, so comfortable walking shoes are essential. Summer midday sun is strong, so don't forget a hat and sunscreen. There are multiple restrooms throughout the park; it's reassuring to use them before moving in the evening.
