On the first floor's sales corner, you can handle authentic Sakai hand-forged blades and incense yourself to select high-quality souvenirs. The exhibition corner introduces craftsmen's production processes through panels and real objects in a format that naturally sparks children's interest. After experiencing Sakai's prosperity as a port town and the depth of its craftsman culture, heading to the harbor in the evening deepens your affection for the city.

Tips

開催可否や当日の最新情報は大会公式発表で必ず確認してください。終了後は周辺道路と南海本線の各駅が大変混雑します。フィナーレ後は港周辺で少し時間をおいてから移動するか、七道駅・堺駅のどちらが空いているか状況を見て判断するのがおすすめです。帰り道は足元が暗いエリアもあるので、スマートフォンのライトを活用してください。

Tips

About a 5-minute walk from Nankai Main Line's Sakai Station (堺駅), or about 10 minutes from Sakaihigashi Station. Free admission. Open 10:00–18:00 (closed Mondays). Have the shop properly wrap sharp blades for safe transport home. From here, it's convenient to reach Sakai Old Harbor on foot or by bike-share.
