Surrounded by nature at the foot of the Kirishima Mountains, it's characterized by a calm atmosphere where you can hear the babbling of the river. At this hour before the fireworks festival, the hot spring street is still peaceful, and simply walking along the riverside path provides a sense of escape from daily life. Some facilities offer day-use hot springs, which is a good option to freshen up before the evening fireworks viewing. The Kyomachi riverbed, tonight's fireworks venue, is just nearby, so it's a good idea to check out the atmosphere in advance.
