Kodomo-no-Kuni, where the fireworks festival takes place, is a seaside park facing Hyuganada Sea. The area around the hotel-side plaza has a subtropical atmosphere with palm trees lining the area, and in the evening the sea breeze blows pleasantly. The sunset in Miyazaki in summer comes late, and the gradient of the sky and sea at dusk is another highlight.
