Ube-Shinkawa Station, the main station on the Ube Line, is the transportation hub of Ube City. Supermarkets and shops cluster around the station, making it a convenient place to shop for dinner and drinks before watching the fireworks. It's also easy to access Ube Port, the fireworks venue, from here, so gathering the food and drinks you'll need at this time saves you from scrambling amid the crowds near the venue later. There are also convenience stores and discount stores nearby, so you can pick up any extra consumables you might be short on, such as insect repellent or a folding sheet.

Tips

About a 10-minute drive from Tokiwa Park. From the evening onward on the day of the fireworks, the convenience stores and shops around the venue get very crowded and sell out quickly, so it's strongly recommended to do your shopping here with time to spare. It's reassuring to prepare a bit more drink than you think you'll need per person.
