Susa Fishing Port is known locally as the birthplace of horumonyaki (grilled offal) cuisine and is a working fishing harbor where fresh seafood is landed. Along the harbor, small dining establishments and festival food stalls line up, retaining the local atmosphere intact. At dusk, fishing boats are moored, and the declining sunlight reflects off the water's surface and boat hulls, creating a simple yet beautiful scene. On the day of the fireworks festival, food stalls also appear in the surrounding area, making it a relatively easy time to procure dinner. Spend the harbor's evening hour leisurely in the festive atmosphere while waiting for the fireworks show to begin.

Tips

On the festival day, parking spaces around the area fill up early. It's recommended to complete dinner around 5 p.m., before the crowds arrive. Some food stall items sell out quickly, so check early. After eating, familiarizing yourself with restroom locations will provide peace of mind for the evening. Please take any trash with you as you leave the venue area.
